Who owns the content I create?
You own everything you create. 100%. No exceptions.
Social Neuron does not claim any ownership of your content, and you can use it however you want.
**Your content is yours**. Any video, image, carousel, or text post you create with Social Neuron is yours. You created it (with AI assistance), and it belongs to you. You can: - Publish it to social media - Sell it to clients - License it to other businesses - Modify it and republish it - Archive it forever - Delete it
**Commercial use is allowed**. If you're a freelancer using Social Neuron to create content for clients, that's fine. If you're an agency using Social Neuron to create client deliverables, that's fine. If you're a brand creating content to sell products, that's fine. There are no restrictions on commercial use.
**No revenue sharing**. We don't take a cut of revenue from content you create with Social Neuron. You keep 100% of any revenue from your content.
**What about AI model rights?** Here's where it gets nuanced. When you generate content using AI models (Google Gemini, Midjourney, Flux, etc.), the terms of those models matter. Most premium AI model providers (Midjourney, OpenAI, etc.) include commercial use rights with their plans. Social Neuron integrates these models in a way that respects those rights. You own your generated content and can use it commercially.
For images and videos: The AI models used are licensed for commercial use. When you generate an image with Midjourney through Social Neuron, you own the image and can use it commercially because you're a Midjourney user (through Social Neuron's integration).
**The content copyright landscape is evolving**. As of 2024–2025, the legal status of AI-generated content copyright is still evolving. Some jurisdictions are clarifying that AI-generated content can be copyrighted if there's sufficient human creative direction (which there is in Social Neuron — you direct everything). We recommend consulting legal counsel if you have specific concerns, but Social Neuron's position is clear: you own what you create.
**Social Neuron retains no rights**. We don't use your content for training our AI models. We don't use it in marketing. We don't show it to other users. Your content is yours. We just provide the tools and hosting. If you delete content, it's gone forever — we don't keep copies.
**Data privacy is separate from ownership**. You own your content. We also protect your privacy per our Privacy Policy (available at /privacy). These aren't contradictory — you own your content, and we don't share it with third parties without permission.
**Exportability**. You can export all your created content anytime from your Content Library. Download as video files, images, or raw project files. Your content isn't locked into Social Neuron — you can take it anywhere.
