What platforms are supported?
Social Neuron supports publishing to the major social platforms, with more being added regularly.
**Currently Live:** - **YouTube**: Full integration. Publish videos, manage metadata, set thumbnails, and view analytics. YouTube is where Social Neuron delivers the most value because video is the most powerful format for organic reach on YouTube.
**Coming Soon (Rolling Out):** - **TikTok**: Video-first platform perfect for short-form content. We're implementing TikTok's API to enable direct publishing, hashtag optimization, and analytics integration. - **Instagram**: Photo, carousel, and Reel publishing. The platform will auto-crop and optimize content for different Instagram formats. - **LinkedIn**: Perfect for B2B content, thought leadership, and professional videos. LinkedIn has different audience expectations, so content will be optimized for that platform's norms. - **X/Twitter**: Text-first with support for images and videos. Threading and quote-post support. - **Facebook**: Video, carousel, and feed posts with audience targeting options.
**How to get early access**. Connect your accounts in Settings → Connected Accounts even if a platform isn't fully live yet. You'll be notified as soon as your platform becomes available, and you get early-bird access before the general rollout.
**Why this rollout strategy**. Rather than launching with mediocre support for 10 platforms, we're launching with excellent support for YouTube and rolling out others methodically. Each platform integration needs to be deep (supporting that platform's full feature set), not shallow (just uploading a video). This ensures you get real value from integration, not a half-baked feature.
**Cross-platform formatting is automatic**. When a platform goes live, Social Neuron automatically reformats your content for that platform's specifications: - Aspect ratios (vertical for TikTok/Instagram Reels, horizontal for LinkedIn video, etc.) - Length limits (60s max for some Reels, unlimited for YouTube) - Caption requirements and optimization - Thumbnail generation where needed - Platform-specific metadata (tags, descriptions, audience settings)
You create content once, and it's optimized for each platform you publish to.
**Multi-platform publishing saves time**. Once you have all your connected accounts set up, you can publish a single piece of content to all platforms simultaneously. Social Neuron handles the formatting for each. Instead of spending 30 minutes reformatting and uploading to 5 platforms manually, you spend 2 minutes in Social Neuron.
**Platform analytics are unified**. The Analytics dashboard shows performance across all platforms — combined metrics and platform-specific breakdowns. See which platforms drive the most views and engagement for different content types.
